This is the cable that Amazon should have shipped with the Kindle 1. It will charge & sync the Kindle 1 from your computer at the same time, and you can charge it from almost any USB-type charger. I use it with my iPhone charger and now I only have to take 1 charger with me one trips.

Works good, fast, cord is long and strong, but the charging part of it has a tendency to come out of the port easily and, no, it is not just mine, it is the way they designed them, both extensions are the same size, when it would be more practicable to make the charging cord longer, since it does not have as good of a grip in the Zire 31 as the HotSync part of it does.

I love this cable - it allows me to connect any USB device to my PC. Works with my Palm. I bought it for Treo 650 and it works great. A whole lot cheaper than what cellular stores want for these.

This is a wonderful product for resurrecting my old Zire 31. I had accidentally thrown out my old AC adapter when moving last year. This product was exactly what I was looking for! I wanted a USB only power/sync adapter, which this product delivered and at a great price. I would definitely recommend.

I've had my cable for a couple of months and I love it. My wall charger for
my Zire31 stopped working so I wondered how I was going to charge it.
Then I saw the ad on Amazon and ordered it. Thanks for a great product.

This product worked perfectly with my Zire 72 for which I have no wall charger. Perfect for synching and charging. It arrived before the estimated date so I am very pleased and would purchase from them again anytime!!
