This products works fine from LCD DVI to HDMI connector to my HP dv6se laptop. I can work with 2 LCD now
one through HDMI (from Dvi) and another through VGA

I just recently purchased a new hdtv and I wanted the most out of it. This cable was inexpensive and delivers as expected. I don't know the deal with those high-end cables but would recommend a set of these to anyone looking for a bargain.
