Stays in place but doesn't allow adjustment of iPod, September 23, 2007
This review is from: eForCity Red SportBand with Case for Apple iPod nano / iPod Nano 4th Generation / Pen Drive MP3 Players / Creative Zen V / V Plus / Zen Stone / Zen Stone Plus / Zen Wav / Zen Neeon / Zen Neeon2 / Zen MicroPhoto / Zen Nano (Electronics)
I like the armband portion of this item. Its wide elastic belt keeps the band firmly in place with none of the slipping or twisting you sometimes get with narrower bands. The band is also made of strong material that has yet to show any wear despite frequent use. And despite my tendency to keep the band rather tight on my arm to avoid slippage, the elastic material it is made of has not lost its elasticity.
What I don't like very much is that you must remove the iPod from the pouch to select songs or adjust the volume.

Poor armband design, August 31, 2010

Everything is fine about this except for the armband, which for no apparent reason has velcro hooks on both sides. This ensures that the hooks rub against your side when exercising. Hooks on one side would be fine, so the armband is adjustable. The other side makes no sense, and is uncomfortable.

Eforcity Red SportBand for Apple iPod nano 4G, September 26, 2009
This review is from: eForCity Red SportBand with Case for Apple iPod nano / iPod Nano 4th Generation / Pen Drive MP3 Players / Creative Zen V / V Plus / Zen Stone / Zen Stone Plus / Zen Wav / Zen Neeon / Zen Neeon2 / Zen MicroPhoto / Zen Nano (Electronics)
the only reason why I am not giving this item 5 stars it's only because it's too tight for my Ipod Nano 4G, yet have to be fair: my baby has a Speck ToughSkin for iPod nano 4G, therefore it adds thickness to the device so that's probably why it won't fit.
the GREAT part of all this is that the Speck ToughSkin has a rotating clip, so what I do is, hook the Clip in the compartment (built for the Ipod) of the Sportband, so even though the Ipod is outside of it, it's clipped to it, and I'm able to change the music or whatever i want to do.
oh, well something potential buyers should know is, if you put the Ipod inside the case of the sports band, you won't be able to access the anything but the headphones port. / also you'd have to insert the Ipod upside down:S
i suppose it works for me just fine, because i use it with a clip on.
not as practical as it should be, considering it's a sports band, so this item probably deserves 3stars:S
