5.0 out of 5 stars good value January 8, 2012

This DVD has two REDRUM games 1 and 2 and two bonus games as well. Easy play, choice of relaxed or timed, nice graphics and music, interesting stories and a different twist on hidden objects to find. The REDRUM games are not for younger players because they are a little disturbing but for an adult or teen it's relaxing play. Not a bad value for 4 games.

1.0 out of 5 stars Can't figure it out if my life depended on it March 31, 2012

This game is beyond confusing. Left Redrum game half way and went to Redrum 2. Had to start over and over again and still stuck because all has to be in a certain order AND the hints are limited. You have to find a rose to gain more hints then a microscope. Good luck! I love the story line, but thank goodness I kept the money in my pocket for RHM. How the heck do you play this game? I have many that I love and purchased from Amazon, but this game is way too confusing and far from relaxing. I agree not for children and would go so far as to say for a pre-teen or a teen who feels no one loves them. A child with psychic powers who can talk to the dead with breast bigger than mine and medically abused by a psycho doc and who knows what else if you let your mind wander (think of early 1800's and 1900's psychiatry). There are two additional games. The Flying Dutchman and Curse of the Witch Crow (I should have included in my original review, but thought it would be similar to Redrum and not worth mentioning. Was wrong!) "The Flying Dutchman". At one point it asks you to find a "plane." Click on the plane and nothing happens. you are stuck. Hints? A telephone that takes forever to load and it is a midst of smoke you better watch closely. No storyline and you just go from one place to another on a map that you click on to find the same objects over and over. Graphics are absolutely horrible! Puzzle is the same over and over and no hints. Worse yet, reach a certain point and expect to go back to where you left? Nope. It doesn't save and you have to start the level from scrach. I'm stuck trying to obtain the plane. Won't pick up. I'm done. The game sucks anyway. "Witch Crow." Save the princess who has been enchanted and now evil and save another bunch of characters.
