5.0 out of 5 stars Believe the hype., September 21, 2004

All of the magazines say that this computer is great. Most people who actually own this computer say that it's great. I own this computer, and I think it's great. But then you've always got the trolls on certain sites that say it's junk. They don't know what they're talking about.

This is my first eMachines computer, and I am completely impressed with it. For the price, it can't be beat. It's fully upgradeable, it has lots of features, and it's built with name brand parts. If you doubt me and say that eMachines are generic, take the thing apart and see for yourself. All name brand stuff.

To sum it up; if you're in the market for a quiet and well built, value system that's fully capable of upgrades, the T3092 is a good option to seriously ponder. It has a ton of good features, a nice software bundle, and a good warranty. Check out the specs and features list here or on eMachines website... I bet you'll be impressed.

I was debating whetever to build my own or buy a desktop computer. I chose T3092 instead, yeah I know Emachine has been less than stellar in the past, but they have changed and completely done a 360' turn around ever since Gateway bought the company. Just look inside, the parts are made by brand names surpassing predominant vendors. The damn thing also have 3 fans inside. One thing I recommend is upgrading the graphics card if you are into serious gaming. Not that its bad or anything, it is a GeForce 64mb, better than Intel-Extreme crap.

I thought that this computer would not be good for games until I got a graphics card for its AGP slot. Well, it's a number of times faster than my old computer with a 32 Mbyte graphics card and I just bought Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic for it and that runs very smoothly as do all my old games like Medieval: Total War. The integrated graphics are suprisingly good, though I believe I will need a graphics card for some games, especially when Rome: Total War comes out! I liked my old monitor, so the T3092 was a great bargain. I've had it for about a month and a half and have had no problems with it. I also like its BigFix software that keeps my computer up to date because otherwise I wouldn't know how or bother.
