I have to admit that I didn't expect much when I bought this book. I expected a bunch of interviews with successful internet entrepreneurs.

I didn't expect each interview to be so vague. None of the interviewees divulged how they became successful or any marketing plans they used to make money online.

There are too many internet "rah-rah you can do it" books out there so this is just another one that will collect dust on my bookshelf. It's pointless for people to keep writing these books unless they plan on including the entrepreneurs marketing strategies for their online businesses.

If you need some inspiration then get this book. If you are expecting some kind of marketing secrets to be revealed then you will be very disappointed.

What is another source of making money? Interview the Gurus, create a book and sell. If Mike Litman and Jason Oman did it they knew what they are doing. They delivered a treasure of information that can be applied to life. But the problem with today's self made authors is that they don't know how to drill people and what questions to ask. OK I come to the point now. This book gives not much information that can be applied to today's internet science. When the author asks questions like how did you do it, and they all answer how they started years back pre Yahoo era. Those techniques don't apply today. There is not enough information how a newbie can start on the internet and make a decent income. I give one star for the effort and all the money going to waste in printing this book.

As the administrator of the Writer's Business Academy - an online training center for writers who are tired of struggling to make a living from their writing - I get asked to read and review a lot of books. Some are good, some are not so good, and every now and then, some are destined to become great. I think eMillions is one of those.

BUT...
If you're looking for a step-by-step guide to becoming an Internet Millionaire, this is NOT the book for you.

If, on the other hand, you're feeling a little frustrated, you're tired of all the hype, the half-truths and the out and out lies about what it takes to make a living from the Internet - and you're looking for a little inspiration, a little hope and a few nuggets you can take to the bank - then you need to buy this book.

Stanley - who by the way is a 16 year old kid - wanted to know the truth about success for himself. And he didn't let anything - or anyone - stop him from achieving his goals. (Now how's that for inspiration?)

Before I tell you what gold I found in eMillions, let me tell you what you WON'T find:

You won't find a bunch of blah-blah, here's how to start making millions of dollars overnight - in your bathrobe, while someone else does all the work for you and you just push that wheelbarrow full of cash to the bank...

And you won't find a bunch of the typical interviews - the I'm so great, and you're not - but you can be if you buy my stuff...

And you won't find a bunch of pie-in-the-sky, mystical "woo-woo" stuff either.

Instead, you'll find 14 candid, one-on-one conversations from real people - who started out with nothing - and who used the Internet to build real businesses - and in the process - became real millionaires.

If you pay attention - you'll also find real gold nuggets of information, insight and ideas - that you can turn, tweak and try in your own business right away. Because one of the biggest nuggets I found in eMillions is that it's the little ideas that take hold and become the basis for your "overnight success." Each person who was interviewed shared some of the things they tried that worked - and the things that didn't. If you pay attention - what you take away from this book could help you become the next internet millionaire.

Since I coach authors and business owners, I get a lot of books. A good inspirational success story book is always welcome on my shelf, however Stanley Tan's book E-Millions kicks inspiration up a notch. Sure, you will find hope and inspiration because of young Mr. Tang's story and the 14 uber successful millionaires he interviewed. But you will gain something much more important than a smile story.

Stanley Tang shares actionable strategies that his millionaires used to create their thriving businesses. That means you will want to have a notebook and pen beside you and a yellow highlighter too as you read, because you will definitely pick up tips and strategies to apply to your own business starting right now today.

I bought this book under the impression that it might be one of those "standard entrepreneur success story" books...and that I would get one or two things from those stories.

I was wrong...

This is by far and away THE BEST of this style of book. Loaded with golden nuggets...I highly recommend it.

If you are starting or already have an online business this is a must read. Knowing the story behind how others have achieved success provides inspiration in knowing like them I too can be successful. The say the interent provides a level playing field for small and large businesses. The individuals profiled in this book prove that point exactly.

What a gem! Stanley has compiled a list of interviews with the "best of the best" in the online business. Easy to read and very entertaining. You will get at least 1 good tactic or technique from each section. That could literally mean millions to your online business. eMillions is a must have.

eMillions: Behind-the-Scenes Stories of 14 Successful Internet Millionaires is an amazing and excellent overview of online marketing tips written by Stanley Tang. He has gathered a variety ground-breaking marketing tips and advice that will help anyone interested in breaking into and developing a successful online business. Each person interviewed provided both experiential and theoretical proof of what to do and what not to do to succeed in all areas of the virtual business world. I'd highly recomend reading this book to anyone who is seriously considering establishing and developing a lasting online business presence.

In spite of Stanley being relatively young, even by Internet standards, he manages to pull some interesting and useful information from his interview subjects.
