Does not fit! Too thick!,

I go this battery to replace the aging factory battery in my Ipod photo 5th gen 30GB model. although it looks to be the same size as the stock battery, it is thicker than the original, and does not allow the lid to close. I tried too hard to get it to fit, and cracked the LCD screen for my efforts! Do not expect this thing to fit your 5th gen Ipod photo. The X and Y dimensions are correct, but the Z height is not right.
I put it back together with the old battery, and it still works (with the old degrading battery life), and cracks in the screen. Well, you live and learn. |
