Great card for the money!,

This review is from: eVGA e-GeForce 9600 GT KO EDITION 512MB DDR3 PCI-E 2.0 Graphics Card (Personal Computers)
I owned this card for some time now and it still impresses me. I just have one but with the ability to go SLI in the future if needed.I can run all my games at 1920 x 1200 above 25fps except for crysis and world of conflict. EVGA is a great company to purchase from.

This review is from: eVGA e-GeForce 9600 GT KO EDITION 512MB DDR3 PCI-E 2.0 Graphics Card (Personal Computers)
Ok, this graphics card is very good. the bad thing is though, it was made for vista i believe. if you are making a new computer, this video card is very proficient if your operating system is vista. I have this card, and i have XP. It works fine, but not at its highest potential. If you have windows XP i would suggest the 8 series, preferably 8800 GT. Above all though, this is a decent card, i have had it for a year and a half already, still working fine.

Good performance, erratic pricing,

This card meets my needs, almost even with 9800gt at most benchmarks in gaming if you use 1280x1024 or lower screen resolutions. That being said, price on this on Amazon is way out of whack most of the time, should never be priced above the 9800gt, which can often be had for <$125 after rebate. If they get the price on this back where it belongs, it would be a good basic gaming card.
