Very Handy,
I bought one of these a couple years ago and it really works great. One caveat, however. Our old house had a lot of shady trees over the back deck where I kept the kaddy with my grill. The patio on our new house is in direct sunlight and after one season, my kaddy had become so brittle, it cracked when it tipped over and is now falling apart a chunk of plastic at a time. It is rain proof, but I wouldn't advise storing it in direct intense sunlight for months at a time. Make sure you have a nice shady spot to put it in. Mine lasted for two years at our old house, but after one summer in our new house, it needs to be replaced. Still a great product though, and I will be buying a new one, just keeping it inside.
Update 5/25/10: I did indeed purchase a new Kaddy not long after penning this review. I've kept it indoors out of the sun and it's just as sturdy as it ever was.

Although I'm not the Grilling King in our family, I was intrigued by these dispensers which was borne out of frustration with flimsy charcoal bags and all the mess that goes with that. We BBQ all year, so the bags would be subject to winter rain and summer fog and dampness. Many times charcoal would be dumped all over the patio as the bags would fall apart. These containers remedied all that frustration and mess. They work great and our friends think we are grilling geniuses to boot! Highly recommend!
To keep the containers from getting brittle in the summer sun, ours are stored under the grill cover. Just enough space for both containers!
