I think Brad Warner's 'Hardcore Zen' was more my style. I sometimes felt that Liz Gilbert was a little bit on the 'poser' side. Too much "Look at How Enlightened I Am".........nevertheless, well written.

Just got done reading the book. Yeah it was ok. It's not quite in my norm for reading. One thing I couldn't shake. I think I read over it somewhere, but cant seem to find my answer. It is a very minor detail, but when the 3rd part starts in Bali it says she can only stay there for 4 weeks. She is upset by this, yet she stayed for 4 months. When/how did she get an extension?
