I cannot say enough good things about this brush! It makes application so easy and my foundation always comes out even. It has not shed a single bristle, despite my washing it multiple times (which also is easy - it come out brand new!) and heavy use. It does an excellent job blending my foundation to the amount of coverage I want and even is tapered enough at the end to fill in those smaller spots (like around my eyebrows and nose grooves). Oh yeah, it's super cheap and "green"!! Highly recommended :)

Update: I received a foundation brush by Stila for Christmas; since Stila has some nice products, I decided to put my Ecotools brush into storage and switch to this new one. Big mistake. Every morning it was a struggle to put foundation on -- the brush head is tiny, while the handle is ridiculously long. After 5 weeks I had had enough and decided to go back to my Ecotools brush. Wow! I could not believe how much easier foundation application is with it! The brush head is much fuller and bigger in dimension, helping speed the process a lot, while also making it easier to apply and blend the foundation. I will never use another foundation brush!

The brush that was included with my mineral makeup was coarse and shed worse than anyone's cat. I fetl like something was crawling on me. After reading rave reviews for this brush Ecotools Earth Friendly Beauty Retractable Kabuki Brush Retail $15, I decided it must be at least worth the modest price at Target [under $10]. It did not disappoint me. This brush is soft and luxurious and does not shed at all. Applying mineral makeup with this brush is easy and flawless. I also appreciate that the bristles are cruelty-free synthetic, and the case is made from recycled aluminum. It's an all-around excellent product.

The ecotools foundation brush feels like silk on my skin. The bristles are super soft but lacks any resistance. The two tone look of the bristles gives it a nice quality brush look. The bristles are also placed in very tightly so this brush does not shed. This brush overall is too small to apply foundation unless you have lots of time to spare. If you have lots of time or you don't mind the lack of reisistance this is a great brush for you. I might end up using it as large concealer brush because its too soft and luxurious not to use.

If your a beginner to makeup, the size of this foundation brush may be too small and overwhelming for you considering the amount of time it takes to properly apply and blend foundation smoothly.

This brush suits us just fine. Its length, balance and flatness allows it to really hit the spot.

It also works as a bath brush. :)

I won't ever use another brush ever again. If this brush was the last ecotools brush on earth and it had staph infection, i'd clean it as best I could and still use it... that's how much I love it.

I love this brush! When I ordered, it arrived way ahead of schedule! This brush is small enough to handle nicely, kind of like a pen. The brush itself is very soft, and the bristles don't fall out, which is a big plus. It's wonderful for all kinds of foundations. I also love the fact that it's "earth friendly"! I will definitely be ordering more brushes from ecotools in the future!

I saw Youtube's Jen Wan (fashionismycrush- AMAZING guru) review this bronzer brush. She suggested it be used for foundation/blending face products together. I loved the thick, dense shape and ordered one on amazon.
Price: Very practical. Around $10 and it shipped for free. I know these can be found at Ulta/Target but I don't have those here :(

Design: Thick sturdy bamboo handle, aluminium ferrule, and HOORAH- synthetic bristles. Cruelty free + eco-friendly = big plus. The handle is nice and short; I travel a lot and have no interest in lugging a huge brush around.
The brush head is very soft and packed tightly with bristles. The brush isn't flimsy at all, making it ideal for powder products. You don't have to swirl it around for 10 minutes to pick up the product.

Effect: I used this with my Revlon Photo Ready and Clinique powder and it worked a dream! I prefer it to my usual sponge because I feel like the layers were eliminated and both products were buffed into my skin seamlessly. I liked it for blending concealer as well.

I don't wear bronzer but this brush is fantastic- a new fav tool!

This brush is super soft and very dense. It is great for blushes or other face powders. Definitely comparable to high end brushes.

I use this brush to put on my mineral powder foundation and my make up comes on so clean and the bristles are so soft. I think this is the best cheap brush I've have ever bought. I have felt more expensive brushes that does not even comapare to this brush.
