5.0 out of 5 stars Family Time Made More Fun!
I'm really love in love with the eeBoo brand of products. Since having to start homeschooling my daughter (due to my husband losing his job and our budget basically having to tighten its straps tremendously), I've used basically a months tuition to buy all her pre-k materials. In homeschooling, I'm forever looking for ways to incorporate play and games into our day...

3.0 out of 5 stars Go Fish
A cute variation on the traditional game. Kids have fun learning the names for the colors.

I'm really love in love with the eeBoo brand of products. Since having to start homeschooling my daughter (due to my husband losing his job and our budget basically having to tighten its straps tremendously), I've used basically a months tuition to buy all her pre-k materials. In homeschooling, I'm forever looking for ways to incorporate play and games into our day. Luckily, this is where eeBoo comes into the picture. I've purchased a lot of their products in the last three months and have loved every single one. I also nanny, and not only do my kids love these products but so do the kids I nanny! I was really looking for an update on the classic games I played when I was the same age as my own and the kids I nanny, so I purchased this and a few other of their games/flash cards, etc. Fun, educational, durable, and affordable. Card games are a great way to have family time too that doesn't involve tv. Overall, I'm really happy with all my eeBoo purchases and would recommend them to anyone.

These cards are so much fun! My mom used to play them with me when I was little...we still have the cards (pretty worn out) what we loved about them is the fish shape...can't believe they still make them! My daughter and I play them almost every night before bed. kids absolutely love them. The fish shape & pretty colors make playing go fish extra exciting!

The cards are sturdy, and there are several colors to teach beginners. My 3 yr old and 6 yr old can both play since it's based on color, not numbers or letters!

The overall design and packaging is superb and I love the fact that the cards are fish shaped .. and the range of colours is great but the names 'chartreuse'for instance is a bit much for 3 year olds who are just beginning with colour.. so we've simplified and use purple, and brown instead of eggplant and cafe au lait!

The fish shape is fun. The cards are tough. The colors pretty - the color names absurd - cafe au lait, buttercup, jade, turquoise, warm red!!!

After searching for Go Fish cards that dealt with colors, I was excited to find these cards. They reminded me of the cards I played when I was little. Although my granddaughter and I have fun with these cards, I wish they would have used basic colors names to help teach the colors, which was the purpose of my purchase. It's difficult to present colors such as turquoise and chartreuse to a 2 1/2 year old. I was hoping to work on red, green, brown, black, etc. as cafe au lait is not in her vocabulary. So we still use the "ordinary" names of the colors when we play, and she does enjoy playing with the fish cards in her own way, so the purchase was worth it.

My 3 1/2 year old got this game for Christmas and we play it almost every night before bed. He loves it! The fish-shaped cards are so cute. They're also pretty durable and I like that they have a heavy-duty box to be stored in. The color names are certainly unique, but I like that my son is learning "chartreuse" and "indigo", instead of simply green or blue. Buttercup is his favorite though!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great game for kids, December 30, 2011

We received this as a gift for our 4 year old daughter from her Grandma. She really loves the game, and best of all, she is not tempted to cheat on this like other games. It's a good beginning card game to introduce shuffling, holding cards in your hand, etc. We like to play this game as a family.

These are the best kids playing cards I've ever owned. They're very sturdy cards and I love the fact that my grandchildren have learned new colors like "Indigo," "Cafe Au Lait," "Jade," "Chartreusse," among many others. Alot of fun and learning too. I love themed so much, I ordered the Old Maid cards from the same company. Worth the money!
