emWave Biofeedback Stress Relief [Silver]

I tried both the emWave and the Stress Eraser. I prefer the emWave by a long shot. There are many reasons. First and foremost, the emWave leads you how to adjust both your emotions and your physiology in order to get yourself to the zone. This is useful for your daily work, sports or any kind of human endeavor. You can function with a clearer and sharper focus, leaving the stress behind. In contrast, the Stress Eraser focuses on breathing and the breathing rhythm which, while effective, is something you can learn to do by reading one of the many thousands of resources on meditation available both in books and online. Deep, rhythmic breathing is good. But ultimately, I felt that the Stress Eraser works at a superficial level and doesn't take you to as deep a level of resourcesfulness as the the emWave does. The emWave approach gets you to take control over multiple processes that are central to operating in the optimum state.

The emWave, furthermore, has a lot of interesting research behind it that ties it the science behind it with what has been known for ages by religious adherents. Namely, the functional aspect of spirituality which operates "from the heart" has a measurable, quantifiable physiological component. Faith, love, and joy actually puts the mind and body into an optimal state. Wow! I knew it all along. But here's a device that not only teaches that, it helps you to get there.

I open the box in less than a minute I was using emWave. The rechargeable battery already had a charge (neat). The quick start guide was on a business card - very fast reading. After using it for a few minutes I read the users manual, very easy read. I've been using for a week and I found my stress level lower. I highly recommend this product!

Easy to learn and use! This little device is PACKED full of great features! Measures many facets of stress and teaches you how to systematically relieve them. Gives practical and technical reasons on how and why it works -- for those who are right or left-brain types!
Immediately I was really impressed about the accuracy of the measurments of my stress (both using either the ear sensor and/or the thumb sensor). It detected small variations in what your thoughts are and helps you manage those stressful thoughts/feelings. This helps you build the muscle of managing stress in literally 4 - 5 minutes a day. I just got one for my wife... and now just ordered one for myself (to take w/ me wherever I go)! Great product!

Biofeedback comes highly recommended for improving health physically, mentally and emotionally. While this product seems complicated to use from the onset, following the usage guides makes it easy and operating it becomes simple and easy.
