This book is a comprehensive analysis of major elements of change in East Asia which will impact the political outlook and regional cooperation in economics and security. About the Author
Hank Lim is Director of Research at the Singapore Institute of International Affairs and Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of International Relations (IRR) in Chengchi University, Taipei, Taiwan. Dr Lim's research areas include economic development in ASEAN and the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation. Chyungly Lee received her PhD from the Department of Government and Politics at the University of Maryland in 1995 and then joined the IRR at Chengchi University. She is currently an active participant in the Council for Security Cooperation in Asia-Pacific (CSCAP) and has been coordinating Taiwan's participation in CSCAP-related activities since May 2000.
