Empire Earth is a great game! It is one of the best games that I have ever played to be quite honest with you. The graphics are the best for the year it was produced in and the game play is very easy to follow unlike Empire Earth 2. Empire Earth 2 is much more difficult to learn. I strongly recommend that you have at least an NVidea Geforce 2 graphics card or equivalent. You will thoroughly enjoy this game, I assure you of it!

The only drawback is that they need to have more military units. Also, the military units are not unique to the civilization except for the special units.

This is an awesome game for anyone who wants a simple Take over the world game! Though the Sierra Servers have been down for a few years now,(so don't expect an updates) There are a few Third party game servers which you can use for multi-player but other than that and LAN games its all you Vs the Computer! This game is also needed for the few expansions offered. Still one of my favorite games Ever!

Although a few years old, I have not come across many that can compete with the depth this game is capable of. Multiple story lines spanning from the dawn of man to the final frontier (if you opt for the expansion pack).
The campaign is increasingly challenging, not only from level to level but from set to set. It really pushes you to follow along through this highly historically accurate RTS from the very beginning.
The open play skirmish matches can get just as intense as the campaign as the computer really fights against you for the maps resources.
A must have for any RTS gamer looking for a fix that will last a long time.

I've had this game since it came out! My wife and I love to play it over the LAN... of course she had never heard of it before I introduced her, no she kicks my butt!! LoL Very simple to play, easy enough for a kid! For it's time, the graphics are awesome!! This one is definitely a keeper!

FYI: If your running Windows 7, just run it in compatibility mode for Windows XP Service Pack 3 and you should have no problme!

bought this for my bf and hes 17 turning 18 in one more day and had this game when he was a kid so i got it for him and hes hooked lol
