Being plastic with lots of parts, I was concerned that my boy would break the truck within a week but it has actually held up quite well. But then again, it's still winter and he hasn't taken it outside yet! It's very realistic and fun - he loves it.

Bought for 2 year olds birthday. Our other son has the crane truck. Tough hook with winch holds a lot of weight. Great fun hauling and lifting other toys. Very durable toy,realistic with lots of play value. Made in Germany not China so confident that it is lead and other bad stuff free!

I haven't ever bought from this company before, so I wasn't sure what the truck would be like. I got this for my nephew for Christmas. It seemed to be well made and I loved all of the extra accessories that came with it. Most American toys will charge a lot for extras for the toys. I am not sure how the toy has held up, but I haven't heard anything from my nephews parents so hopefully no news is good news.

I bought this as a 2nd B'day gift for my son. It's huge and he loves his "Big Truck". He has done everything to this toy and we are going on 3 months and it looks great. It has heavy metal hooks and long strings for the crane, maybe it's not a perfect gift for a 2 year old but this fit the bill for my son.

It is very much satisfied with the prompt action.
Moreover, if there is an opportunity, I will use.

I bought this truck per my 4 year old son's request this Christmas with a lot of hesitation. Not because I didn't think it seemed like a great truck, mostly because I thought the price was a bit steep for such a toy. Well, luckily I got a good price before Christmas, but I wouldn't have been upset paying the full amount with how perfect this truck is for my son. It is made of plastic because if it were made of metal it would weigh 30 pounds because of how large it is. It is really awesome quality, none of that Made in China cheapness to it. My son has tested this toy to the limits and it has proved capable. It's one of those toys even the grown-ups love to mess around with. We were going to go with the plain yellow construction crane truck from the same brand but decided that the fact that this one lights up and makes sounds and includes the extra pretend element of being a fire truck, this was the way to go and we haven't been disappointed.

Read other reviews and would agree. This is worth the money and my son plays with it non stop. The sound isn't too loud either! I will be buying Bruder's other products for sure.

I bought this thinking it was the pumper truck that shoots water that is available from Bruder. This is a crane truck, and while the crane is fun to use, it is NOT what you'd expect a fire truck to be.
