Fun app and you can create very effective images. however, the photo changes size slightly when it reverts to black and white so when you recolor it goes back to the original size and creates some distortion. I have a kindle fire and maybe that is why. hopefully an update will resolve this problem.

I have other photo apps that do the same thing and this one just doesn't work correctly on the Fire. It didn't seem to want to take input commands most of the time, and sometimes when manipulating photos, it would create a second photo slightly offset from the original. decent concept, just need to work the bugs out so it works right on the Fire.

I am a little disappointed with this app. I have been looking for a photo effects app where I can have a pic that's mostly black and white with a few colored areas. I'm not sure what that type of picture this is called, but I think it looks really cool. The sample pics look great, so I was really excited to try it out. Unfortunately it let me down in a few areas.

The good:

Gallery: I didn't have a problem loading images from my gallery. Down along the bottom menu there is an icon you can click that looks like a Polaroid picture with a flower in it, that's how you load from the gallery.

Features: Pinch to zoom is great, but it took me a while to figure out that you have to be in the "Move" screen to do this. There's the ability to change the brush head, size and softening of the edge. Also a good selection of background filters like sepia, vignette and color tints.

The bad:

-Saving: I either can't figure out where my picture is saved to, or it's not saving. But I click the little icon at the bottom for saving and that's the last I see of my image. Also no ability to "share", which is a major disappointment for me.

-No instructions: This app isn't very intuitive, so I would really appreciate some instructions and tips. Nope, there is nothing in the app to help you along.

-No back button support: It's habit for me to use my back button and it exits the app. This is just plain annoying because I keep having to go back to the menu to reenter the app.

So, basically I'm still looking for my perfect app for my needs. I will play around with this a little more and hope for updates that fix the issues I'm having with it.
