5.0 out of 5 stars A good place to start, March 21, 2000
By A Customer
This is a great starting point for a journey into knot tying. It just contains the basics and a little on splicing. I would recommend it to any begginer

I wanted something onboard requiring small shelf space to cover line basics. Not enough room on the shelf for Brian Toss.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great book, but I think it's Bill Beavis, not Beans, July 29, 2002

Good book, good illustrations
But the illustrator of the book is Bill Beavis, not Bill Beans.
