This is an excellent revised Luther translation that preserves the dignity of the language. I use it regularly; the only two problems that I have experienced are that the print is small and the cover falls apart very easily after frequent use.

I have been looking for a German Bible to replace our old family Bible from 1935. I was initially turned off by the reviewer's comments and thought twice about purchasing it. Yesterday I received it and did a quick comparison to the 1935 edition. Although there have been some changes, it does not appear to be as radical as most of the changes to the English translations of the Bible. The edition was updated in 1984 from the 1935 version. Those who have difficulty reading small print would have a problem; however, I would recommend this version.

Since I don't know which translation this is or if it is large print ? I want a large print Martin Luther translation. Can you help me? Also am trying to find the German Bible in cassette form. Thanks and God bless.
