Amazon.com Review
Richard M. Rodgers met his current wife online and is, therefore, a natural advocate of using the Internet to meet a potential mate. This book offers his efficacious, competent, and occasionally plodding advice about online dating (including techniques for corresponding with women, complete with sample dialogue). Sometimes Rodgers veers a bit too strongly toward the obvious; for example, when he cautions us that people online will lie, just as they do in real life. No kidding. It's much easier to be tall, dark, and handsome with two Ph.D.s online than it is in the darkest bar. And even though the author is catering to new users, he sometimes misses things that a beginner needs to know, like how to get an Internet service provider. Still, his heart is obviously in the right place.
