5.0 out of 5 stars A heartfelt, user-friendly manual and resource., August 23, 1998
By A Customer
After a poignant Introduction by Dr. Joyce Brothers, this exceptionally well written book reflects Mr. Astor's experience as caregiver for his mother-in-law for seven years. When I read the book, the word that often came to mind was 'heartfelt,' as the chapters clearly reflect his genuine concern and compassion as a primary caregiver. This user-friendly manual is also a wonderful resource for those who need to understand the mechanics of our custodial care system before becoming a patient. My advice? Put this book on your Christmas and Chanukah list. It's a real winner.
