About the Author

Georgia Byng grew up outside Winchester, in England, near the river Itchen, with three naughty brothers and a sister. Her dad was nature loving and her mum was very encouraging and warm. The nearby country lane with its many cottages was somewhere Georgia first found out about characters, for it was teeming with them, and she used to interview them. Otherwise she would try to sell these neighbours things she had made.

As a child she loved acting and so at 18 went to The Central School of Speech and Drama in London. After college she began to paint and write. She had always written poems and songs but now she started writing stories.
Her first were in comic strip, a medium that she worked with for five years. The Sock Monsters was her first published book in 1995 - a comic strip story for 5 - 7 year olds.

Georgia lives in a house in London full of old and new art, as her husband is the conceptual artist Marc Quinn. Marc keeps all sorts of strange things in the fridge - once he had to keep a Canadian frog in there as it was hibernating and had to be kept cold. They and their family, Tiger (17), Lucas (6) and Sky (2) love to travel, their favorite destination being India.

Sometimes, to lose something is to find something. In Molly's newest adventure, she's certainly trying to find something. When things left off, Molly learned a stunning secret about her past, and someone she never knew. This time around, she's trying to find that person, but their fate is something worse than she ever imagined and it's going to take some new power and all of her daring and her courage to unravel this plot.

The opening of the book sees Molly feeling somewhat depressed. Let's just say that she's grown somewhat used to the idea of settling into something resembling a normal life and isn't eager to place herself or those she loves in more danger. But ultimately Molly does what it is right. And the fact that this is *her* adventure sets a different tone from the past stories, when she was rather dragged into danger. Let's just say that Molly is finally taking control of her destiny. And once again, her friend Rocky is along to help her, as is her precious pug, Petula, who must also find new depths of courage and power if they're all to survive this journey.

The story zips along, making for another exciting read. This story features a fun new cast of characters, with some unexpected reversals and twists. Just what is this mysterious mind-machine hinted at in the title? And how will Molly's thrilling new power manifest itself? You'll have to read to find out!

So what's next for Molly? Teleportation? Some other power we can't even imagine? I can't read minds myself, so I can only guess, but I'll be eagerly waiting for Molly's next adventure.

This is a really good book! It doesn't quite match up to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, but it is still a really good book! I have read all the other Molly Moon books, but none of them have been as good as this one! I could not put this book down! I am trying to get all my friend's to read the series but so far only my best friend's brother has read the first book and he loved it! If you do not read this book you do not know what you are missing!!

MOLLY MOON, MICKY MINUS, & THE MIND MACHINE is about an 11 year old hypnotist and time traveler named Molly Moon. She promised her parents after she saved them from an evil hypnotist, that she would find her lost twin brother. He was stolen when they both were born.

Molly first began at the hospital which they were born in. In order to find the culprit she had to use her time traveling crystals to go back 11 years to the moment her brother was taken. The chase to find her brother will take her into different places in time. Before she can rescue her brother, she's captured by an evil princess and more adventure follows.

This is book four of the MOLLY MOON series. The others are MOLLY MOON'S INCREDIBLE BOOK OF HYPNOTISM, MOLLY MOON STOPS THE WORLD, and MOLLY MOON'S HYPNOTIC TIME TRAVEL ADVENTURE.
