Product Description

All over Hollywood, men are dialing O -- for orgasms. Her steamy naughty talk fills them with lust and longing, and helps them perform like the studs they claim to be.

In truth, the industry's favorite phone sex operator is Nina Harte, a struggling actress who has put her career on hold so that her husband, Nathan, can pursue his own dreams of stardom. When Nathan's career takes off, so does he, leaving Nina and their four-year-old son, Jake, for his diva costar, Katerina McPherson. Then "Kat 'n' Nat" are crowned the media's newest celebrity sweethearts, and Kat labels Nina an unfit mother in order to win custody of Jake, just so that she can have that highly-coveted celebrity accessory "an adorable child" sans any unsightly stretch marks.

The one person who does care about Nina is Nathan's agent, Sam Godwin. In fact, he's in love with her. And because he has both a heart and a conscience, Sam feels guilty for having put Nat in Kat's path in the first place.

So how will he feel when he finds out that Nina and O are one and the same?

5.0 out of 5 stars Kept me up all night, December 29, 2006
What can I say. Josie Brown is the diva of wordsmithing pop-glam-lit. Um and she writes a damn good story too. As I read ITT I felt like I was standing on Sunset Blvd. She paints the Hollywood scene so vividly I could see it in Technicolor. The story is probably more true to life than not. If you want a peek into the scandal of all that is Hollywood and cheer for a heroine who deserves it, run to the nearest book store for your copy, or better yet just order it here at Amazon.com

4.0 out of 5 stars Impossible to put down.., December 17, 2006
Again Josie Brown turned out a witty and smart book on the goings on in Hollywood. I loved the concept of 'O' a phone sex deva and how she did what she did out of love for a man, who clearly didn't deserve it. The inner thoughts of four year old Jake, her son, was sweetly funny, along with a snappy hip dialogue of the adults surrounding him. His dislike for 'fat lips' was hilarious from a childs point of view. Ms. Brown knows Hollywood, along with all the out of this world idiosyncrasies of so many characters who live in that very strange place called 'Planet Hollywood.' She brought each character into a colorful rainbow of living breathing life like dolls of botox, silicon and just plan craziness. 'O' was an orginal idea, taking the world of phone sex to a more personal level. Making me wonder who are these woman who do this? Are they mother's and wives, just trying to make a living? Ms. Brown personalized 'O', never letting us forget throughout the book why she did what she did and the man who blew his one big break all for sex with a star. I found sympathy for the heroine and strength in her convictions to just give her son a better life, and help her cheating husband see his dreams come true. While she made the all important sacrifice of putting her own dreams to bed to be awaken another day. And even a greater sacrifice when her marriage fell apart because she helped her husband get ahead by handing off a CD of his work to a agent, unbeknownst to her, who was in love with her. This book made me laugh out loud as it reminded me of the more important things in life, which wasn't always money and fame.

5.0 out of 5 stars Impossibly Able to Put it Down, December 20, 2006
Ms. Brown again brings Hollywood to life in Impossibly Tongue Tied. Her characters are straight on and 'almost' recognizable. Nina is naive, but not stupid as she does all she can to help her husband, Nathan Harte realize his dream of stardom. All along Nina sees the danger signs but wants to believe in her husband and her life with him, until she is forced to see the writing on the wall. At no time does Nina seem a victim as she gives as good as she gets all along the torrid way through a nasty Hollywood divorce. Ms. Brown delivers with witty dialogue, unexpected twists, and a great heroine to cheer for the whole book through.
