With all respect to the previous reviewers, I don't think anyone has adequately communicated just what a trivial item this is. It's a little book (5x7 inches, about the size and thickness of a CD case) of 45 stock photos and paintings with Palin's head or face photoshopped in, each full-page picture with a mock-serious caption on the facing page (example: A painting of Joan of Arc in armor, with Palin's face pasted in; "In between junior high and high school, Sarah heard God's call to save France.") Those who found Palin ridiculous might find this item mildly amusing, though nowhere near worth the original $10 cover price. Those who considered Palin to be St. Sarah would likely find it mildly offensive. It's ultimately just silliness -- its greatest contribution to society was probably providing for a few hours of entertainment for James Iacobelli, who's credited with the photoshopping.

Although we elected a woman over 30-years ago, poor Mrs Thatcher was not a patch on the saintly Palin. The Governor of Alaska could beat her in any contest: fist fight, colouring competition, mud-wresting (Anchorage rules) or beauty pageant.

This book is further proof that the American people will soon be blessed with another fine leader: considered, thoughtful yet not afraid to take direct action against the enemy...whoever they might be at the time.

I've bought several copies for tonight's Republican Party Partee so that we can all feel a little closer to the woman who so lucidly expresses all our hopes and aspirations and whose probity, competence and all round yumminess are beyond reproach.
