5.0 out of 5 stars beautiful art, well-researched book, September 26, 1999
By A Customer
I found the art spiritually uplifting. It is refreshing to see a work about angels that is not sentimental but reflects angels the way they actually are in angel lore--mysterious and sometimes surreal. The book gave me a deeper appreciation for the history of our thoughts about angels, and made the Tarot itself easy to understand and use. I thought it was well-written and packs in a lot of information. I've given readings to friends with it and it's been great.

Well researched and beautifully illustrated, this deck and book are a welcome relief from the sentimentality that is usually associated with this subject.
