Editorial Reviews

From Publishers Weekly
In a starred review, PW called this sequel to The Teeny Tiny Ghost "a lesson in bravery, a spine-tingler and an all-out charmer." Ages 3-8.

Copyright 2001 Cahners Business Information, Inc.

From School Library Journal
PreSchool-Grade 2 This book opens with the diminutive apparition introduced in The Teeny Tiny Ghost (HarperCollins, 1997) at recess gathering his courage to climb the "slippery silver slide." When he makes it successfully up and zooms to the bottom, the little ghost realizes that, "Being brave just takes practice." He then puts his bravery to the test when he encounters spooky happenings at home. With his black cats in tow, the tiny ghost uncovers the fact that his cousin has been targeting him as part of his "hide and haunt" homework. Fans of the first book will enjoy this gently scary offering that features the same Goreyesque artwork and rhythmic text. Ghostly holiday fare for the teeny-tiny set. 5.0 out of 5 stars The Teeny Tiny Ghost Says, "No Fear!", May 25, 2001
By A Customer
The Teeny Tiny Ghost returns to give us more insight into how to overcome fear, even if you are too small to be scary yourself. It's all about practice and repetition, so why not another visit from your child's favorite Halloween character? Kay Winters and Lynn Munsinger score again with their energetic, expressive, humorous work.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Read-Aloud! A Sure-Fire Hit With Kids!, August 17, 1999
By A Customer
This fun-loving and playful picture book is scary enough to hold the interest of the bold child and gentle enough to entertain the timid. Kids will love and indentify with the Teeny Tiny Ghost and his two black cats. With its rhythmic prose and delightful illustrations, the book makes a great aloud - at Halloween or at any other time.
