The book is a comprehensive guide to all-hazards emergency planning. It provides clear guidance on preparing an effective emergency plan. The book is full of examples of formats and procedures, which bring the concepts of all-hazards emergency planning to life.

The book is excellent for beginners and professionals alike, acting as a primer and a thorough reference as well. For professional emergency planners the book offers a myriad of model implementing procedures for all aspects of an all-hazards emergency plan.
