Editorial Reviews

Product Description
The world's leading e-commerce association shows how to find the best new and used car deals online. Are you looking to bargain up from the dealer's price instead of down from the sticker price? Do you know where to find the latest safety information on new and used cars? How accurate is the information you find online? Are online dealers reputable? How can you make sure you're getting the best car for the price you can pay? Now Commerce Net provides potential car buyers with the time-saving guide to: finding the right dealer for your online search; financing your car loan online; negotiating the best deals online; "test-driving" cars online; comparison shopping online. According to the renowned consumer group J.D. Power, savvy shoppers are turning to the Internet to buy the car of their dreams--and they project that in two years more than half of new cars will be bought on the Internet. But why wait? This is the guide buyers can turn to now!

From the Back Cover
Next time you buy a car, drive your own bargain--on the Internet. Want to buy the car of your dreams at the lowest possible price, with the least possible hassle? Don't go to a dealer. Go online. "For the first time, the customer is going to control the retail system." That's what Daimler-Chrysler co-chairman Robert Eaton recently told a group of car dealers about the Internet and car sales. This consumer's guide to online car shopping, written by Jeremy Lieb and CommerceNet, shows you how to use the Internet to handle every detail of shopping for and buying a new or used car--from researching and choosing the car you want, to bidding for the best deal, to getting a car loan. Now you can do everything but kick the tires online.

By A Customer
This book is really cool. It tells you how to search and compare cars online. Allows everyone who is interested in buying a new or used car a way to inform themselves on everything from the safety to the best prices. How to find car clubs, speciality items - everything except how to find a date. Really cool book!

I was disappointed. The material in this book is incomplete and dated. Don't bother.
