About the Author
James Highlands is president of Management Systems Analysis Inc., an ISO 9000 and ISO 14001 training and consulting organization. He is a lead US delegate to ISO Technical Committee 207 charged with drafting the ISO 14000 standards and a member of the US Techncial Advisory Group to ISO Technical Committee 176 charged with drafting the ISO 9000 family. He is a certified lead auditor for ISO 9000 through both the Registrar Accreditation Board in the United States and the International Register of Certificated Auditors in the United Kingdom.
