By Amr M. Al-Saif (Safwa, Eastern Province Saudi Arabia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: General Ophthalmology (Paperback)
A comprehensive book in ophthalmology, It deals with a wide variaty of topics and have the classic Appleton and Lange format. although it contains too much information to learn in a rotation but it serves excellent as a reference.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent reference., July 23, 2005
By A. M. Keating (Minneapolis, MN USA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Although I have not yet finished the book, from what I have read I feel it is the perfect beginning book in ophthalmology. At least it was exactly what I was looking for as a soon-to-be ophthalmology resident. I also initially came across it as a medical student and feel it is a great book for medical students considering the field for their career.

5.0 out of 5 stars Vaughan & Asbury's General Ophthalmology, December 13, 2008
By Robert H. Collier (Yorba Linda, CA, USA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This is one of the best, if not the best, review books for the ophthalmologist (either in practice or in training). It also would be perfect for the medical student who would want a single reference to the topic. It succinctly covers a vast amount of material.
R.H.Collier, M.D.(an ophthalmologist with over 40 years of experience)
