I can normally get through technical textbooks, but this one isn't very well laid out. I don't like how it's organized, and while you can find specific definitions for words in the back, other terms did not, and the context could not be easily derived at times from the text.

Book is written in the smallest print imaginable. These are not general concepts on Microbes and how they work, its an indepth full blown 200 or 300 level book. My Micro 115 requires this book & its over everyones head - be prepared for long hrs and eye strain on this one.

Some of the chapters in this book are too advanced for a introductory Microbiology class.
