"This is a concise and comprehensive atlas of scintigraphic images of sports injuries. The book is well laid out with discussions of the pathologic process followed by relevant nuclear images as well as radiographic studies." "This atlas would make an excellent reference for those who will be involved with nuclear studies as they pertain to sports injuries. There are few books that focus on this subject in such a comprehensive yet concise and easily referenced style." "4 stars" (Doody's )

5.0 out of 5 stars An Excellent Window into a Difficult Subject, May 13, 2004
By Michael Burdette (Washington, DC, USA) - See all my reviews
I am a sports physician and I cannot recommend this "Atlas of Nuclear Imaging" enough. Through the use of clinical case studies, this very well set out manual has been of enormous assistance not only in my practice but for the many fellow physicians and sports trainers I have told about it. I have observed and (happily) participated in many dramatic turnarounds in the health of several patients, whose diagnoses might have otherwise escaped me. This is an outstanding book!
