I've worked with a lot of Web site tools over the years. When I find something that works well, I'll usually test it thoroughly and write a review about it. All of these reviews add to the information that I provide as part of my books, so you view it as bonus material in many cases.

One product that I reviewed recently is Web Vulnerability Scanner Version 3.0. This product provides a unique view of security for Web sites because it doesn't test things from the inside; it begins on the outside where crackers are going to start. Consquently, you gain a unique perspective of your Web site. You can read more about this product in my review entitled, "The Cracker Eye View of Web Site Security with Web Vulnerability Scanner".

Another product that I reviewed recently is Spices.Net. This is a code management product that could considerably reduce the time you spend working with certain aspects of your application; no matter what that application might be. The feature that I liked best about this product is that you can take a low-level view of your code; lower than any other product I've seen recently. If you want to get the whole story about how your DLL is put together, this is the product to try. Actually, Spices.Net is a sort of Swiss army knife when it comes to code management; my short entry here doesn't do it justice. Check out my review entitled, "Managing Your Code with 9Rays.Net's Spices.Net" for additional details.
