5.0 out of 5 stars brilliant and funny, December 2, 2002
By "reichler" (Moscow, Russia) - See all my reviews
this is a book for serious c++ programmers, but what sets it apart from the pack is its humour. one of the best advanced c++ books i've come across.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful! An advanced and yet general purpose C++ text., February 19, 1997
By A Customer
This well written text details topics such as advanced pointer classes, factory functions, flexible collections, malleable types, and specialized memory management techniques.
This is a must have for all developers, whether they are designing their own class libraries or just dealing with someone else's. Wonderful stuff.
If your only advanced C++ books are this and "Effective C++" by Scott Meyers you will be doing well
