This book goes step by step through all the aspects of the art of conducting. It covers all ensembles, stlyes and issues faced by the modern conductor. I recommend it to the serious conducting student.

This book is a wonderful text for conductors of any level of experience. It applies to both choral and orchestral/wind conducting and gives different viewpoints on many techniques. Also includes areas such as leadership, character and divides performance practice by era. An amazing text!
