3.0 out of 5 stars Okay, but not the best out there, September 30, 2007
It's pretty good for an intro to Criminal Justice class if you're taking the class in high school, but it's not that great for a college text. Some of the facts are misleading or are just plain wrong, and some of the opinions given go against what is actually done in the field.

On the otherhand, it does have a lot of pictures and there are some students who only get through the class b/c of the pictures. Then again, those are the students who grow up to be nobodies, so I would go for a book that has some pictures and is a little more insightful.

1.0 out of 5 stars Criminal police, May 13, 2008
This review is from: Criminal Investigation (Hardcover)
You and your "Bear" character are both sickos. Why was this thug not prosecuted for assaulting people in the streets? People who were not even charged? This "Bear" is nothing but a violent criminal, judge, jury and executioner and you hold the sociopath up like some kind of hero. Dr. James N. Gilbert is it? What? Doctor of torture? Or Doctor of rationalization?
