Protocols covered include: LAPD, LAPB, LEEE LAN Link Protocols, LAPM, Frame Relay, Internet Link Protocols, SDLC as well as wireless link protocols. 5.0 out of 5 stars Bible on Data Link protocols, October 14, 1995
By A Customer
This book is considered the "Bible" of data link protocols. Here you will find ASYNC (XMODEM, etc), HDLC/SDLC, BiSYNC, LAP/B, LAP/M, Signal System 7 (SS7), ieee 802.x, LLC, described in detail. Complete discussions of asynchronous and synchronous link layer controls and error correction are discussed in detail. This is a must have for the data communications professionals library. I don't even loan this book out...
