As an English teacher, I have found that the program "English Pronunciation for Spanish Speakers. Consonants" is an excellent means both for teaching English pronunciation as well as for making it clear to students that they can be misunderstood if they pronounce words the Spanish way. The book really tackles the difficulties Spanish speaking people have in pronouncing many English words. Due to the diagrams at the beginning of each section showing the placement of articulators (tongue,lips etc.), the different kinds of interesting exercises and the humor put to some of them, students are always interested and delighted to use the book. If there are any students who want explanations in Spanish, they will find them at end of the book.
Writing this book, as well as "English Pronunciation for Spanish Speakers. Vowels", certainly involved a great deal of creativity, ingenuity and work. Congratulations to the authors!
