I bought this book because, after teaching elementary music for 13 years, I am moving to a middle / high school vocal music position in the fall. Since I majored in instrumental music when in college, I knew that I wanted some basic information on teaching choral music. This book has some great chapters on the adolescent voice and teaching the fundamentals of good singing. Some of the early parts of the book are less interesting, but reading this book has been a great way to review concepts and learn some new things too.

it's a good support to achieve knowledge about the matter, leads through many topics carefully, both theory and practice. Maybe not a must-have book, but surely very helpful.
