A valuable feature is a system of closed methods for all fractures which can be treated this way, and there is an extensive chapter on the treatment of burns. The book is published in collaboration with the Deutsche Gestellschaft fur Technische Zusammenarbeit and the Kenyan Ministry of Health, and is part of a complete series on surgery, anaesthesia and obstetrics for hospitals in the developing world.
