Editorial Reviews

Product Description

Roo has a sleepover and Kanga tells two stories about Tigger. In the first story we learn what happens when Tigger wanders into an empty house and helps himself. He has some porridge, breaks a chair, then takes a nap--and this is how the sleepover began in the first place. In the second story Tigger claims that he is the fastest creature in the 100-acre Wood. Rabbit challenges him, and they prepare to race. Rabbit even boasts that he can beat Tigger while wheeling a barrow of vegetables. Rabbit counts of Tigger's overconfidence and he wins the race. Tigger realizes he shouldn't boast so much--so he claims he's the best at not boasting in the forest.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pooh Bedtime Stories #1: Two Tigger Tales, April 15, 2000
By A Customer
This bed time storbook has very good examples of comparisons between small and big objects. Also the lesson that childern can get out of it about never to give up. The colorful pictures are a great addition to the story. My 1 year old loves to hear this story and look at the pictures.
