Mary Emeline Malone thinks she has killed a man. When her employer tries to take liberties with her, Mary defends herself. No one will take an Irish immigrant's word over a powerful businessman, so Mary must get out of New York for the sake of her baby. A kind-hearted madam takes Mary under her wing and asks the Irish immigrant to accompany her back to her home in Idaho. Having nowhere else to turn, Mary agrees. Although a job as a bookkeeper in a saloon is better than Mary could have hoped for herself, she knows she must avoid the sheriff of Whistle Creek if she has any chance of staying out of jail. Sheriff Carson Barclay keeps the peace in the quiet little town of Whistle Creek, Idaho. When Mary and her son Keary come to town, Carson is drawn to the beautiful woman with the Irish lilt. Even though he wants to help her, Mary doesn't seem to want to have anything to do with him. He loses his heart to the strong willed young woman, but he must earn her trust if they are to have a future together. Robin Lee Hatcher wraps up her Coming to America series with Mary's story. In His Arms is a story about what makes a family. Ms. Hatcher does a marvelous job of bringing the characters of Whistle Creek to life. I'm sorry to see this memorable series end! The stories of immigrants are beautifully told by Robin Lee Hatcher! Her Coming to America series is very special! A heartwarming tale of love and family, troubled pasts and new beginnings... Ms. Hatcher's writing flows off the page and into our hearts! Robin Lee Hatcher writes the best stories around! Kristina Wright --
