These books were wonderful to read again and I'm happy to have both books in one. A little bigger in size but then I won't lose one of them. The stories are well-written and make one feel that they are there in New York on that Tuesday morning. Definitely worth reading.

This book shows a life changing event for several of families of those who worked either in the fire department or emergency services, as well as people who worked around, or in the Twin Towers at the World Trade Center in the heart of Downtown Manhattan.

One of the firefighters Jake Bryan, knew that there would be a life changing event for him, as well as Sierra and his wife Jamie. He was in the field of helping people who were in need during the attacks.

Sue, Jamie's friend provided a lot of support to Jamie during this time, and they were able to help each other through this harrowing time. After the attacks occurred, there was mistaken identity of Jake, who turned out to be someone else.

The unexpected comes when the person who lived with Jamie, and turned out to be someone else with, comes up again with another situation through the book.

If you're wanting to learn about this event, as well as the harrowing and grief stricken times that Jamie, Sue and Sierra had to go through, then this would be for you.

Karen continues to demonstrate exceptional writing.

These are short reads but the messages are HUGE! This is the first series I've read by Karen Kingsbury but it will definitely not be the last!
