From Library Journal
Author of numerous cookbooks, including several others on Christmas baking, Robbins now offers 50 all-chocolate recipes for holiday entertaining, gift-giving, or just nibbling, from Chocolate Teddy Bears to Grand Marnier Brownies to Chocolate Pecan Pie. A nice little assortment of tempting recipes, this is recommended for larger baking collections.

From Booklist
Books for chocolate lovers certainly aren't hard to come by, but there's something winning about this small book. None of the 50 recipes are terribly elaborate (a cake from Julia Child's Mastering the Art of French Cooking is probably the most complicated), and the range is sufficiently wide--from liqueur-laced concoctions perfect for serving at holiday parties to recipes designed for tempting the kids. Catering to the current popularity of biscotti, Robbins includes several savory varieties, but brownie and chocolate-chip cookie lovers are well served, too. She also includes a few coffee cakes, chocolate breads, and lucious, simple-to-make chocolate confections. The print is small, and the chapter on equipment might have been better placed at the beginning, but this unpretentious little book will find a ready audience year round. Stephanie Zvirin
