Amazon.com Review
If all the publicity about the now-famous impotence drug has you curious, this book will help fill in the gaps in your knowledge and correct misconceptions brought about by a thousand media reports. Katzenstein, a magazine health writer who seems to be making hot topics his specialty (he previously wrote Secrets of St. John's Wort, about the popular antidepressant herb), addresses himself mainly to men who are having problems with their sexual performance or are worried that they someday will (which, frankly, means just about everyone). He provides a useful questionnaire for determining the type and degree of your sexual problems, and discusses how Viagra may be able to help solve them. Like other books on the subject, this one also includes chapters on what Viagra can do for women and other impotence remedies available now and in the near future. In addition, there's a Q & A with a urologist who has treated patients with Viagra, a list of useful Web sites, and a guide to various insurance companies' policies with regard to the drug (which, of course, are subject to change over time). --Ben Kallen
