While iChat is pretty easy to use, and eventually, the reader will hit upon most the author talks about, I did find very useful information that I had not considered. For example, to change my preferences so that I do not have to see the buddy list but can still be contacted. The author also references some web sites for some additional things that can be done with iChat-and I appreciated the pages. I am using some of the icons from one of those pages. As stated before most of the inofmation will be hit upon eventually, but why not have it all at one time?

Wanted to get the latest new iChat book but could not find one. This one covers enough so that I can figure out iChat with new systems (OS X.5). Can not beat the price of the used book and its in like new condition.
