Kinsey Millhone has a new case as usual. The question is, is Wendall Jaffe dead, or not? Did he fake the whole thing in order to defraud the insurance company? Kinsey has to unwind the whole story and find out what the real truth is here. And in the process, she has to watch her back, so as not to put herself into deep danger in the process!
