The author in great ernestness has written this interesting work in 1980 entitled The Six O'Clock Bus, revised the edition with a new title Beyond Prophecies and Predictions, and then updated it with fresh insights and fufilled prophecies under Prophecies To Take You Into The 21ST Century.
Essentially,the writer compiled, collated and systematically synthesized all the major world prophecies--including those of the Hopi, the Mayans, Babylonians the Bible, Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce, and the Great Pyramid--into a compelling, unified theory. The crux of his message is that with all these collective wisdom and fufiled predictions from the past and the inescapable realities presently confronting us,the collective choice/actions that the human race make today will determine our fate in the future,specifically mentioned the year 2012.Positive changes in the mass consciousness and constructive actions can modify our planetary karma and avert catastrophe.

Moira Timms excellent book "Beyond Prophecies and Predictions" says many cultures, religions and "persons of vision" prophesied great natural and manmade catastrophes for humankind and the earth after 2000 AD. The Hopi Indians referred to this time as the great cleansing.
She says the sacred texts and writing of the Christians, Hindus, Hopi Indians, Egyptians, Mayans, Islam, Jews and other religions speak of international chaos, distress of nations, famine and geological and celestial anomalies. American healer and clairvoyant Edgar Cayce (1877-1945) accurately predicted the Wall Street crash in 1929, foresaw World War II, the rise and fall of Hitler, India's independence from Britain, the rebirth of the Nation of Israel, the collapse of the Soviet Union and Communism. Cayce's other prophetic visions include a dramatic rise in the level of the oceans, an increase in natural and manmade disasters and World War III.
Timms says the future may look bleak, desperate even, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. We should not think of the future as "the end-of the world" but remember that the destruction is a healing crisis that follows the natural order of the cosmic progression. Cosmic time is divided into seven periods of hundreds of thousands of years called a Yuga. At the end of each Yuga, all human souls graduate from the Earth plane. The seventh Yuga, is the most negative of all the cycles. Life on Earth is a school. The souls who fail to learn their karmic lessons before the "graduation" will be held behind after the transition to populate yet another Yuga at another time in the future where they will "do it again and again until they get it right."
