Review
Count Theodore Berg is an escaped Hungarian revolutionary recuperating in Italy from an operation that may allow him to walk again, thanks to his brother Dr. Max von Berg. His nurse is Sister Julie, a young woman with an ability to take away pain with the touch of her hand, and an ability to provoke Theo into walking again. Theo has promised himself that once he is better he will go to Russia and rescue Maryka, the woman he loves. But thoughts of Julie taunt Theo, until he finds out she is Princess Julie Muromsky, a Russian princess and the niece of the man he has vowed to kill. Julie's interest in Theo goes beyond the fact that she wants to help him walk again. He is Max's brother, a man she loves, but can never have. When Theo finds out who she really is, she convinces him he must take her to Russia. For her, returning to Russia is an escape from the heartbreak that she suffers working with Max. But she doesn't know that Theo's plan is to kill her uncle, or that before the trip is over, Theo will make her forget her feelings for Max. Driven by guilt, Theo fights his attraction to Julie. He believes it is his fault Maryka was kidnapped and feels duty-bound to rescue her and marry her. Theo knows he shouldn't be taking Julie to Russia with him, especially since she doesn't know what his intentions are. But fate has bound them together and he cannot refuse her. Their journey is a dangerous one. If Theo is recognized he could be killed, and so could Julie. Traveling as an arms merchant and his wife, Theo and Julie must keep up their facade while ignoring the passion that they feel for each other. But the tumultuous era of war and violence in Europe is the backdrop for a love greater than anything either of them has ever known.Nina Beaumont is a dynamic writer! She weaves a beautiful tapestry of love, passion and history! Tapestry of Dreams is vividly real and wonderfully romantic! Historical romance fans will be delighted! An emotionally moving story of two people thrown together by fate who find love in a time of war! A very special novel by the very talented Nina Beaumont!Kristina Wright -- Copyright © 1994-97 Literary Times, Inc. All rights reserved -- From Literary Times

5.0 out of 5 stars very good, October 19, 2008

(REAL NAME)
Set in times of the Russian revolution; Theo hated all Russian's because the Russian 'Muromsky' and his followers had severely injured him and taken his lover Maryka from him. Leaving him with days and months of pain stretching into years. At the hospital, his brother Max a doctor preformed surgery on Theo and Max askes Julie a nurse with a healing touch to help Theo in his recovery (Julie is also known as Princess Julie 'Muromsky', niece to the man Theo hates).Julie leads Theo on the road to recovery, enough so that he decides to go back to Russia to free Maryka his lady love and seek his revenge against, Princess Julie's Uncle, 'Muromsky'.
Julie who is in love with Theo's brother Max who is married and in love with his wife, feels it is time she leaves the Hospital and her unrequited love for Max.
She decides to throw in with Theo and return to Russia with him so that he can seek out his lady love Maryka. Meanwhile Theo and Julie are falling in love with each other without really knowing it. Both feel the other loves another and do not reveal their true feelings for each other,
until the end of the book.

I enjoyed this book, as I liked both Theo and Julie. And there was just enough intrigue to keep you turning the pages. The only thing I would have changed was that I thought the ending a bit too abrupt, I think it should have had an Epilogue at the end or something, it just fell flat for me at the end.
