*Eliminate answer choices that look right but are planted to fool you

*Gain invaluable test-taking experience with our practice questions, which are in every chapter
*Use our techniques to score high on the free-response questions

Practice your skills on the two full-length sample tests inside. The questions are just like the ones you'll see on the actual AP Chemistry exam, and we fully explain every answer. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

4.0 out of 5 stars Only Get If You Get The Barron's As Well, August 17, 2000
By "alterntivgirl" (Reseda, Ca USA) - See all my reviews
This is a good book, I'm not denying that, but it's got some serious flaws that everyone definitely needs to be aware of. Its end of the chapter questions and simulated test questions are WAY too easy! Basically, I got almost all of them right since they came nowhere near the difficulty of the actual AP exam. Also, brief is good. We all like brief. But some of the chapters are just way too brief. I mean, sometimes, all the book did was like laundry list formulas. That's great and all, but that's like telling someone, okay, PV=nRT, now you know the ideal gas law. I mean, a little explaining would help.

I don't mean to sound all like I hated this book or anything. I didn't. Its cracking the Descriptive Chemistry part of the test is so absolutely, amazingly helpful, that I think that I would have gotten everything wrong on that section without the Princeton Review. But, I cannot stress enough the fact that using this book alone is a big no-no. If your budget can only afford you to get one book, get the Barron's. But, if you can buy two, getting this book and the Barron's should help you conquer any question that the evil maniacs at ETS stick in front of you. It sure helped me. I got a five...=)

5.0 out of 5 stars Princeton Review Chemistry AP, May 24, 2000
By A Customer
This book is absolutely incredible for preparing you for the AP. I had to cram for the AP the weekend before and this book was a tremendous help. I read the other review and it said that the multiple choice in the Princeton Review was harder than on the AP, but I beg to differ. I thought that the Princeton Review practice tests were easier than the real thing, but the information in the book was very good to study. All Princeton Review books are great and they are the best to choose from. They are especially good with the SAT's and are not as boring as most others. They are written in a more casual language rather than the tedious and boring style of something like Barron's. Overall, I highly recommend this book and I suggest that past tests are purchased from the college board to prepare for the AP if you want to get a guaranteed 5.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent book!, April 3, 2000
By Josh Gardner (Arizona Bay, CA) - See all my reviews
This is an awesome book I took AP Chem last year but didn't take the test and am planning to this year. Considering I haven't had any Chemistry for over a year, I thought I'd be in trouble, but this book is the best review I've ever seen. It almost teaches the whole subject of Chemistry, in an easy, straight to the point manner.

If you're taking the AP Chem Exam this book is a MUST.
